I was sorely in need of some motivation to train last month. When a few buddies suggested I participate in the Minnesota version of the Warrior Dash I said "sure" without really understanding what I was committing to.
From their website
There's certainly risk involved in Warrior Dash, but we take every precaution possible to get you to the finish line safely. There will be paramedics and an ambulance on site in case of an emergency. You enter Warrior Dash at your own risk.
I actually prefer events where my personal safety isn't assured... so this could be fun 🙂
Is anyone else participating in this madness? Or have you done one of these events in the past?
If you'll be there this Saturday, my heat goes off at 4:30. I'll be wearing a white ICI/PRO T-shirt.
I'll let you know if I survive it 🙁

from watching the youtube video I’d recommend leaving the WHITE shirt home! Looks like fun. Let us know how you did.
I have done Warrior Dash for the past 3 years. Loads of fun. The GA one used to be a joke. This year’s was more challenge therefore I loved it! My daughter did the race in one those morph suit. She ws incredible
Well, as an observer, it was mayhem. John did great. 65th out of 235 in his age group. It was 95 degrees and humid. Might I add that there were not many in his age group! This stuff is for the young.
He cut the long sleeves out of his white ICI/PRO t-shirt. It is not white anymore, and I don’t anticipate seeing it ever again. Running shoes are still soaking….
I participated in the San Jose Warrior Dash last month with my husband and son, we had an awesome muddy time..would do it again! I also took first in my age group 🙂 It’s also a wonderful event for charity.
