I'm planning to interview Judith in the very near future. I'm very interested in hearing about the unique challenges faced by an instructor in a country that puts such severe limits on women. As a very proud father, I can't resist showing you a picture of my older daughter Abby with her Prom date Steve, just before they head off in a stretch Hummer Limousine with 24 of their friends.
And yes, she gets her looks from her mother! This picture alone makes the expense for braces completely worth it.
Prom at our house was quite a production. Amy's friend Crystal did hair and Amy makeup for seven young ladies. I was hiding upstairs. Too much estrogen for me!

What if you lost it all?
How much time and money would it take to replace it?
That was the question my brother Dan asked me. Dan is the computer wiz in my family and makes his living fixing computers.
When I checked I saw I have over 12 GB of music on mine! That equals roughly 2600 songs + all my pictures and all my indoorcycleinstructor.com files. My whole life is on this computer and I'm entrusting it to this little hard-drive?
Dan recommended that I back it up – but not with an external hard drive that I have to remember to use. I think the last time I backed up was New Years day. Once a year isn't quite enough.

I saw this over at http://www.podcastingnews.com and thought, “I must be on to something!”
Edison Research today released their annual joint study, with Arbitron, of Americans’ radio consumption habits – and it shows that podcasting continues its steady, unrelenting growth.
According to the report, the podcast audience has grown by 22% since last year, expanding from 18% of all Americans in 2008 to 22% in 2009.
Edison’s study, “The Infinite Dial 2009” (pdf) details how we listen (and, with online video, how we watch) to online radio offerings, including podcasts.
