This weeks ride is from Joey! - “This week is a speed work ride. Some of the songs are new, and some I have used in the past, but I love all of them. There is a bit of a mix in genres, but they seem to work well together. This ride is focused on speed work, so there will be some higher cadences and more maximum efforts than I usually have, so please take your time and think out the cues. We want our people to work hard, but not harder than they can handle. We generally use Heart Zones to cue these efforts, and all of our rides. As part of this, we find that associating exertion with the ability to speak works very well.“ Please enjoy.... Thanks, Joey

Joey Stabile

Joey is a competitive age group athlete in triathlon and continues to run 1-2 marathons a year in addition to his cycling pursuits. He can often be seen riding around the Pittsburgh streets and the area’s surrounding mountain trails enjoying the fresh outdoors completely unplugged from the training technology he uses to teach.

Joey is a certified personal trainer, group fitness specialist and the lead Master Trainer for Cycling Fusion. Joey currently teaches indoor cycling at several Pittsburgh clubs and loves to fuse his passion for the ride with his love of training, technology and of course the music.
