I can get lost for hours looking for new music for my cycling classes.  There are so many great resources out there.  I talked about a few of Spotify's latest music discovery tools in the latest ICI-Pro podcast.  I also frequent other websites and blogs when I'm in need of some inspiration.  Here is an amazing song I found while searching indoorcyclingmixes.com recently that I'm sure you're going to want to use in your next class.  If you like longer tunes, this is a great one. It starts out slow and then starts to build at around the 2 minute mark.  You'll start to catch the beat at around 3:45 and hold it steady until around 6:30.  Here it slows back down for a climb to the finish.  Check out the post here, and be sure to take a listen below.  Let me know what you think!

If you're searching for a new song for sprints, look no further than this week's favorite track.  Big Wild released it's single Invincible in September, and the remixes just dropped today.  I especially like the Manilla Killa remix for sprints.  Here's how we'll be riding to this one:  :00-:50 seated climb; :50-1:20 sprint; 1:20-3:00 seated climb; 3:00-3:30 sprint; 3:30-3:49 recover.

One of my favorite songs to cycle to is Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance.  Well, it's been 10 years since the iconic song was released and now Gerard Way, frontman for My Chemical Romance has teamed up with Steve Aoki for a special 10th anniversary remix of the song.  It was released today and it does not disappoint. Here are both songs and how I rode to them:

I love finding remixes of great songs to add to my music library because I'm often looking for a specific song length to add to my profiles.  This week's favorite track features remixes of the song Kill the Lights (with Nile Rodgers) by Alex Newell, Jess Glynne, DJ Cassidy.  If you're looking for a 3, 5, or 7 minute song to fit in to your profile, you're sure to find what you're looking for here.    The original and the remixes clock in between 62-65 rpm, so they make great climbs.  I hope you find one that works for your next class!
