And here I was talking to my class about quitting when I turned 50! I guess I will have to rethink that option. I printed the photo and bio of Ed and can’t wait to show my classes! Keep on cycling!
75 and taught a two hour class. Way cool. I’m 61 subbed tonight for 2 classes at an all women club and kicked 56 younger butts. Age is not as issue, only level of fitness, ability, drive, and if the body holds up.
Here I was thinking I was the oldest cycling instructor at 61.
I teach two classes a week at 6am in the morning and have 24 bikes, lots of positive energy!!
So I’m not the only old guy out here instructing Spinning. I took my first class at 54 yrs old and am now 62 and going strong. I especially like teaching beginners.
You are an inspiration to us all!
Keep on Keeping on!
Ed…what more can I say, YOU ROCK! You are an inspiration to us all as instuctors, as well as athletes! Keep doin’ what you’re doin’
