Today is World Backup Day!
Billed as an annual event to remind everyone about the importance of backing up your data. http://www.worldbackupday.com/ is non-commercial and has information about how you can manually backup your files if you only backup once a year – not a good idea, but better than never.
Did you backup your files today? All your music? All your pictures? Important files? – even the files you don't think are important… until 4 months from now when they will seem very important.
I did, but then I backup every day. I have experienced a number of hard drive failures and have way too much to lose not to backup every day.
Well I don't actually do the backup myself… Carbonite does it automatically for me every night for about 5 bucks a month.
