Cycling Fusion is hosting a liveĀ Heart Zones Level 2 Certification on September 22nd. The presenters of this training are Tom Scotto and Sally Edwards. CECs for most national certifications and you can petition Spinning for their acceptance You can learn more and reserve spot here.

The beauty of participating in this certification online (and may make an online certification superiorĀ to a live event) is that everything will be recorded andĀ availableĀ for you to review for up to 6 months. Ā Also, if you can't devote the entire day you can watch the recordings at a later date.
NOTE: If you are reading this after September 22nd 2012 you can earn this certification by reviewing all the recorded materials.

Holding certifications from; Schwinn, Heart Zones, Team ICG and Life Time Fitness, John's held regularly scheduled cycling classes between 1998 and 2015 when he moved to Florida.

I wanted to emphasize two items not really brought out in the interview. 1 – We know how hard it can be to get students to wear heart monitors in class, so part of the workshop is addressing just how to do that. 2 – The aspect of submitting a video to be qualified for the E.L.I.T.E. (Excellence, Leadership, Inspiration, Technique, Education) status in Cycling Fusion is completely optional. However, this is the only detailed critique being offered by any Indoor Cycling program right now, which is something many people might really appreciate – to be given an assessment of their teaching technique, structure and content by some of the best instructors in the business.
Incidentally, it is from this ELITE group that we plan on building our staff of Master Instructors.
