A Trojan Virus sent me (and I'm presuming every one of the Innercycling members) an email this morning that had the header: New Private Message at Innercycling Forums: “Your Indoor Cycling Place in Cyberspace!”
DO NOT RESPOND! It is a Trojan Virus and not actually from Innercycling.
There should be a special place in Hell for the people who distribute these viruses.
http://www.innercycling.com/ has been down all morning. I hope that Billy can get everything back up and running without too much trouble.
Here is what it said:

Hey [firstname],
Jennifer and I would love to hear your success stories and be able to publish them in a podcast for non-members.
We've even come up with a bit of bribe, one of our brand new ICI/PRO hoodie sweatshirts that our fashion editor Barbara Hoots had made for us.

Our new ICI/PRO Hoodies!
I'm thinking this is how it will work.
Post a comment below expressing your desire to be on the Indoor Cycle Instructor Podcast and a short description of how ICI/PRO has helped improve you as an Instructor and/or your class.
Jennifer and I will be choosing five (5) ICI/PRO members to interview for an upcoming episode of the Podcast.
Are you up for it?

Click Here to learn about LIVE Online Training for Instructor's using MixMeister Express.
MixMeister Express 7 is now for both PC and Mac – but you still can't use AAC Audio files of any type. Students of the MixMeister Express Academy learn how to convert their files from AAC to MP3 in lesson #1
Yep, it's $70.00 but that's better than the $200 Mac users needed to spend for MixMeister Studio. Existing users can upgrade for $19.99.
It's a whole new install so you can keep MixMeister 6 installed and start over with version 7.
I have been playing with for a few minutes and the first cool new thing is it will import a playlist from iTunes. I have always preferred to build my playlists in iTunes instead of MixMeister so I see this is a big improvement.
I will have my full review soon and I will be making changes to the MixMeister Express Academy to reflect the new features.

It's hard to skip this after paying the money.
Just wanted everyone to see that I have committed to doing the Life Time Fitness Triathlon on July 10th this summer 🙂
We started our 2 hour rides (up from 90 minutes) today and my iPod was in charge of the playlist. It did a great job!
We did what I call my Endurance Shuffle Class. HR is to stay in upper Zone 2 to lower Zone 3 while every song change requires some change in the rider. It could be; position, intensity, focus, cadence, load, emotion, pedal technique, anything so long as it was something. I encouraged them to just go with whatever the song lead them.

It gives me (beyond) great pleasure to announce that the state of Vermont will be hosting the 10th Annual Ride for a Reason indoor cycling marathon to benefit the Special Olympics on Sunday, March 21, 2010. The event will be held at the Sheraton in Burlington, Vermont.
Along with myself (STAR 3 Instructor Melissa Marotta, Vermont), Spinning Master Instructors Anthony Musemici (New York) and Angie Scott (Vermont), and STAR 2 Instructor David Means (Vermont), Jennifer will co-lead what will undoubtedly be an inspiring and invigorating six-hour endurance challenge. 150+ riders at last year's event raised nearly $40,000 to support the athletes of the Special Olympics.
To join us all for the big event in Vermont, you can visit http://www.vtso.org/spinning_marathon.php
You can register for the full day (6 hours), put together a relay team to split up the day, or simply register for any number of hours you'd like to ride.
