MixMeister Express 7 is now for both PC and Mac - but you still can't use AAC Audio files of any type. Students of the MixMeister Express Academy learn how to convert their files from AAC to MP3 in lesson #1
Yep, it's $70.00 but that's better than the $200 Mac users needed to spend for MixMeister Studio. Existing users can upgrade for $19.99.
It's a whole new install so you can keep MixMeister 6 installed and start over with version 7.
I have been playing with for a few minutes and the first cool new thing is it will import a playlist from iTunes. I have always preferred to build my playlists in iTunes instead of MixMeister so I see this is a big improvement.
I will have my full review soon and I will be making changes to the MixMeister Express Academy to reflect the new features.

this is the BEST news I’ve heard in a long time! As a Mac user, I couldn’t bring myself to pay that premium for the Mac version, but this one I will definitely be getting. THANKS Mixmeister for listening to the Mac users of the world!

I used to have it on my Dell before I went Mac 4 years ago. So I’m “returning” to a good friend! I will have to take John’s Mixmeister Academy to relearn how to use it though.
Does anyone know what if any differences there aer bewteen 6 and 7?
@cathy, one the big differences between Express 6 and Express 7 is Express 7 does not have the timeline scale like Express 6 does. This is the scale that appeared above your songs in the main display area at the bottom of the window. It was very handy for figuring out when in your workout a song would begin and end. Express 7 has a beat bar instead.
Mixmiester studio has an option to switch between the timeline or beat bar but it is much more expensive.
