Great interview thus far! The quality of the telephone recording far exceeded my expectations, John!
Content: first class — can’t wait for part II to post!
This is a format that I hope will be repeated in the near future.
Ridiculous request perhaps, but in short reply to your surprise that “no one asked” your guest about music preferences, I’d love to hear a low volume, continuous track of some preferred spin music in the background. Since it will be completely overdubbed by a “news” program and will not be of recordable/reproduction quality, copyright issues shouldn’t be an issue(?).

Good suggestion Jon and thanks for the positive feedback!
I record with Skype and Mark has a good headset. He does sound great and just wait to hear Michelle!
We did do one Podcast with Cadence Revolution where we ran the music in the background. Just may have to do it again.
Be sure to send me your picture to enter the “Most Remote Listener” contest.
John
It was a pleasure to talk to John yesterday and with Michelle sitting next to me she was surprised and so excited to be asked to appear on the podcast too! Thanks John!
Here is a small list of my favorite artists that I am playing at the moment:
Aes Dana,
Juno Reactor,
Thomas Newman,
The Bourne Trilogy soundtracks,
Pendulum,
The Transformers sountrack…
Enjoy!
Re: “Most remote”…regrets; while I am remote, indeed, I wouldn’t qualify. I believe quite strongly that first one must prove a worthy student before becoming a master/instructor! I’m a health professional w/ only a little over 150 hours spin participation over 24 months, so I have much to learn before contemplating the ranks of MSI’s like Mark Tickner, J. Sage, or yourself!
I believe one must practice, educate oneself and stay consistent to the sport for at least 10 years… then continue to to improve and never stop learning to truly become a master!
