I love all the changes we are seeing in our classes. As we continue our transition to Indoor Cycling 2.0 I feel it's helpful to remember that many of us are emerging from the “ancient culture” shown in the video below. Gene Nacey made it to promote a very special session he and Barbara Hoots are presenting this weekend… a presentation you can watch online live or via the wonders of video tape 🙂

Following the trend of all the other fitness conferences; we've decided not to kill a bunch of trees and end up throwing away piles of unused presenter's notes.
Instead we have all the available Presenter's notes and handouts online for you to print and bring to the conference, if you choose.
I have created this page with links to all of the available Presenter's notes / handouts along with the final conference agenda.
See you then.

Amy and I are getting ready to fly to Boston!
We're very excited to meet, ride, train and party with everyone coming to the conference… and I'm sure there will be a few hugs 🙂
If everything works as planned we will be displaying a continuous live feed video from the conference, instead of the normal home page. Our plan is to keep this feed as entertaining as possible and we will also be posting updates and pictures from the conference all weekend.
Please tune in for our FREE streaming presentation of the BIG ride featuring Cameron and Pam from STAGES Indoor Cycling / FreeMotion @ 4:30 Eastern Saturday or the recorded version. Information about it and the other sessions you can view online is here.

The view Brenda was missing while teaching
I know it's a little early to think about a warm vacation but I just had to post this. Instructor Brenda Moeske learned about Working Fitness Vacations on a Podcast. After talking to Amy last year at the conference Brenda scheduled her vacation to teach for the week at Couples Tower Isle.
She sent this quick email when she got back:
It turned out to be a fabulous week! I taught my last class (group fitness) class this morning. I did group fitness at 9 a.m. and spin at 5:00 p.m. I had some good classes! My participants said I was missing a great view!! They don't have us teach on Friday afternoons and of course Saturday's. What an amazing experience!! My husband has thanked me the entire trip and the hospitality has been wonderful!!! We have already been on the website planning our next one! Thanks again for letting us know about FitPro Travel!!!! See you in a week!
What she means by “See you in a week!” is that she will be at the conference again this year. Just look for the tan – healthy looking Instructor in the front row.
Amy and I have been to Couples Tower Isle a number of times and it's really a beautiful place. We have a whole website dedicated to helping you take a very low cost Working Fitness Vacation just like Brenda did last week. Go to workingfitnessvacation.comÂ

Clean Bottle has offered to be the official water bottle sponsor of the conference this year! If you watched the Tour de France you probably saw Bottle Boy running along with the peloton.
The Clean Bottle is the first water bottle that you can clean from both ends, solving the problem of how to get the gunk out of the bottom.
The story of how they developed and are now marketing Clean Bottle is fascinating to me as an inventor and entrepreneur … so fascinating that I have asked the Clean Bottle inventor Dave Mayer to be on the Podcast next month.
Everyone attending the conference you will get their very own Clean Bottle, but unfortunately Bottle Boy is unable to attend. If you can't make it to the conference you can order a Clean Bottle here.
