I participated in a Krankcycle orientation yesterday at 501Spin in Minneapolis. Part of the training used the Suunto Fitness Solution I will be talking about it on our next podcast but wanted you to see my interview from IDEA.

I’ve met Mike during a exhibition in Germany. He was there to promote Kranking. I also met mr. Johnny G. himself and spoke with him about kranking.
It’s really amazing how much power you get from the krankcycle. At first it’s hard but after a while it really feels great.
And Mike…. he’s a great guy just like all the others who work with mr. Johnny G.
Just back from SCW (Mania) in Dallas, and this class ‘Power Kranking’ ROCKS. 800 Calories later, sore fingers but extremely excited about the solution to an upper body workout.
I found out how really uncoordinated my upper body really is. WOW.
At the end of the training I took with Jim Karanas on the Krankcycle I commented that I was sure I was going to feel sore for the next few days. Jim explained that I shouldn’t feel any soreness… and he was right. My arms and shoulders actually felt better than normal. My new mission (as if I don’t have enough right now) is to get Life Time Fitness Kranking, and soon 🙂
My first experience Kranking was at the Tour de Cove in San Diego where I had the privilege of being up there on stage with Mike Michaels, Johnny G and all those amazing “challenged” athletes. After my hour presenting, I went down on the field and Kranked for about 40 minutes straight. Phenomenal workout! I too loved the feeling in my upper body the next few days. Fatigued yes, but not really “sore”, although I was very aware of my upper back – not in a painful way but a “hey you really worked me” way.
I am going to try to get one of the clubs here in Vail to get these. They are a fair number of Paralympic athletes who train here for both winter and summer sports (a world-champion or two), and what better way to attract them. But, just so everyone knows, this is for EVERYONE!
