Welcome to the The Weekly Ride by Cycling Fusion:
No more hunting for new music or counting out cues. Here is your ready to ride document, that can be displayed from your phone, or printed out onto cue cards. This ride is timed out, down to the second, to make your life as easy as possible!
This week's ride is from Joey!! - “This week”™s ride is a special ride that I like to do in my classes about two or three times per year. The goal of the ride is to increase tension continuously throughout the ride from the start to the end. If done on a Keiser (what I teach on) there is a 10-12 gear increase from flat road from start to end. This should translate to a start of 0.5 watts/lb and a finish in the area of 2.0 watts/lb. While not intended, this may be one of the hardest finishes that I have had in one of my rides in quite a while. Stay with it, and give a ton of encouragement, your riders will need it to finish well and hard. The last song is going to have them at a fairly tight tension (mine was gear 20 out of 24) with a cadence reaching 95….it was Heart Zone 5 (over the lactate threshold) for just about 6 minutes. Have fun and work hard so that you can ride hard!”

Have fun and enjoy the ride. This is a hard finish and will allow your class to leave with an amazing sense of accomplishment even though the tank is empty.
