Thank goodness for indoor cycling during a winter like this! I hope all of you are safe and warm:)
A flat road today from an old favorite.
At 4:45 and 90 rpm, it's worked very well as the last intense road before heading into a gradual recovery. At 3:00 there is a wonderful, intense guitar riff that lasts approximately 27 seconds. It's a wonderful opportunity to coach our group through one last push.

Amy Macgowan started teaching group fitness 23 years ago.She holds the original Johnny G Spinning Cert, as well as Schwinn, ICG, Cycling Fusion and ACE Group Fitness. Although she has her own bike, she prefers to ride tandem with John whenever possible. Long rides are her favorites. The original video (the one linked here) was recorded in the “favela” of Dona Marta, Rio de Janeiro and Salvador, Bahia.
Brazilian authorities did their best to stop the video from being released alleging that it didn’t fairly depicted their efforts to rehabilitate the favelas. Obviously, they failed both in preventing the video from being released, and to rehabilitate the favelas.
Sadly, today’s artists are more for the buck and less for the social.
