Here's your Spotify PRO/Playlist! We have made every attempt to replicate the original playlist. In some instances the tracks specified were unavailable in Spotify. When necessary we have substituted individual songs of similar length and tried to maintain the Instructor's intent. Here's the Deezer Playlist

Janet you were my MI. I adore you! Hearing you coach is such a great opportunity. Thank you for sharing with us here at ICI pro.
Janet,
I listened to your profile yesterday, taught it with great trepidation this morning and what a great success it was. I looked up halfway thru and saw EVERYONE with their heads down or eyes closed, focusing, breathing, and staying in control. My fave cue of the day (because I have adrenaline junkies in class…myself included) was “don’t let the ego take over…” I had smiles of recognition…nay, TRUST, for the first time ever. At the end of class, one of my “chatty Cathy’s” came up and complimented the profile, saying she loved the focus on breathing and staying in control. Thank you Thank you Thank You!
Really interesting.
-one song one purpose yes but it can be too much ? I understand we have to keep them busy but if you have 10 songs that is gona be 10 subjects, it can be too much to really have the time to experiment and integrate the subject.
-endurance = steady as you show it can be some variation.
I think we could also use some kind of micro interval can be done and stay in a endurance goal; like a 5-10 “increase of pace” than 20 of “recovering” if we teach them that it is not a surge or a sprint it could be an endurance ?
-I have use narration to keep them busy, told them a story, describe them a ride; like that they keep working have something to think about and do not go harder. It is a kind of distraction.
Now you use HR and propose to count HR beat, I never propose that, I think most can not ride and count and it is absolutely not accurate.
It would be interesting to have like a RPE scale where every level is really well describe: respiration, heat of the body, sensation in the legs and body, confort or inconfort, sweating …
It is what I try to do but I am not really happy of what I do, I think I could give them more infos to really help them to be where they have to be.
As HR depend on so many parameters, one day you can be at the wrong level if you just use HR.
This is what I try to do with my riders who have a HR: first teach them to use HR, than to use RPE without taking care of the HR, and at the end to use HR and RPE.
I like the sound of this workout and am downloading the tracks to try it out, but i can’t find track 2 – Top O Morning- Michael Oldefield, or, 5 – Intercity 125 – Deseo Remixes.
I am in UK so might be a problem, any suggestions – have searched iTunes.
Also, some of the tracks i have found are different play durations, esp Darko – mine is 6:11 – can you shed light on where you got yours please. Thanks very much Mel
is a mix I recorded to this profile, please let me know if you enjoy it!
