I have added the Month and Day back to the post headings. We had removed them as a sort of experiment, but received a number of complaints, so they're back. The idea was because much of what is published here is timeless, it didn't make sense to date it. The Blog format of this site works well for a continous flow of new articles and content, but I didn't realize that many of you use the date listing to help understand some of the context of what they are reading.
We are in the process of reviewing how everything is organised here and I would love to know your ideas for making indoorcycleinstructor.com easier to use.
- Don't be too quick to “educate” members - February 12, 2025
- ICI Podcast 212 – Jim Karanas has news and a warning about bicycle safety - February 3, 2025
- What are the top three reasons for people joining a health club? - January 31, 2025
Well I did like the fact that Jennifer had her profiles available as a hard copy and audio. So if you could keep that format maybe. Also, is there any way you can listen to a podcast and cruise the ICI website at the same time? Often I am tempted to hit a link while listening and then I am thrown off the podcast. Frustrating.
Thanks Sandra,
Each PROfile includes a PDF you can print out. The link to Tom’s last PROfile is https://www.indoorcycleinstructor.com/icipro-instructor-training/audio-profiles/icipro-podcast-141-%E2%80%93-your-numbers-audio-profile-with-tom-scotto-pt-2/
As far as surfing & listening my first suggestion would be to listen through iTunes. It’s much more functional as a player, iTunes remembers where you left off if you get interrupted + the episode is saved to you computer.
The other option is to get into the habit of using “Tabbed Browsing” when you want to have two pages open at the same time. Here’s a link to a page that describes it in FireFox http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Tabbed%20browsing Tabbed browsing is available in all internet browsers. I think I will do a post on this to explain more.
I made this just for you Sandra 🙂 It explains Tabbed Browsing.

And I’m guessing few others will appreciate learning about this as well.
If anyone has other questions or frustrations I want to hear them. There’s a good chance I can help.
