This weeks ride is from Karyn Silenzi! - “Power and speed on flats is less impacted by body weight than when we are riding hills. Today”™s focus is to find that 1:1-1.75 ratio of body weight to power output and focus on building strength for climbs. Keeping RPMs higher than 60 to ensure proper musculature work and joint safety today we ride power climbs. Key to developing strength is to work on power in a seated position although we will have opportunities to stand if you want.”
Please note: This is the first time that not all of the music we used is available on Apple Music (but it is available on Spotify). The third song, Rapture (Tristan Garner Remix) by Nadia Ali, just seemed irreplaceable when putting together the ride. So….you can use the Spotify version of the playlist, which has the song, or you can use Apple Music and purchase the song on Amazon Music for just $0.99. Then you add the music to your iTunes library, and presto it will show up in your playlist on all of your devices. Feel free to reach out to me if you need any type of technical assistance with this.
